Bali Theatre is designed to be the first and the biggest performing arts theatre in Bali. It proudly presents the first production of its kind, Bali Agung.
Bali Agung is a grand collaboration of over 150 Bali’s most talented dancers and performers, directed and supported by internationally acclaimed director, producer, puppet maker, costume and artistic designer, music composer, stage director, lighting engineer, and not to mention animal trainer.

Junior Stage Manager
Junior Stage Manager is the essential link between all of the different branches of a theatre company. His or her role is to manage rehearsals, actors, props and costume fittings, as well as managing the performances on stage and liaising with the box office and front of house staff. He or She is responsible for the smooth running of theatre productions. He or She acts as a vital link between the artistic and technical aspects of a show. He or She makes sure that everyone and everything involved in the production, from actors and technicians to props and lighting is in the right place, at the right time.
Typical work activities:
running rehearsal schedules;
keeping the ‘prompt copy’ of the script which notes the performers’ positions on stage, script changes as well as the props, lighting and sound needed for each scene;
liaising with senior stage manager, stage managers, theatre managers and front of house staff;
cueing performers to go on stage;
cueing the technical crew to operate sound and lighting;
distributing information to other theatre departments;
ensuring the company's welfare and maintaining a good working knowledge of all relevant health and safety legislation and good working practice;
watching each show and dealing with any emergencies;
liaising with those responsible for maintaining and replacing props and costumes as required;
